Final Day of the I Care About Kids Project: Reflection, Evaluation, and Celebrating Achievements

The sixth and final day of the "I Care About Kids" Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Project, coordinated by Caspian Research Center and implemented in Saint-Mandé, France under the Erasmus+ programme (Project No: 2023-1-FR02-KA152-YOU-000145811), was dedicated to reflection, evaluation, dissemination, and celebrating the achievements of all participants. The day began with energizing warm-up games organized by the Turkish team, creating a positive atmosphere and encouraging participants to enjoy their final day together.

One of the key activities focused on completing Youthpass Certificates. Participants received detailed guidance on the purpose of Youthpass, its benefits, and how it can be used to showcase the competences gained through non-formal learning. By completing their certificates, participants reflected on their personal learning journeys, recognized the skills they had developed, and became more aware of their own growth throughout the project.

Later, participants took part in project dissemination and evaluation activities coordinated by the Hungarian and Azerbaijani teams. Working in international groups, they discussed ways to promote the project's results and increase its impact within their local communities. Participants also reviewed the activities carried out during the exchange, analyzed the outcomes achieved, and prepared presentations summarizing their experiences, learning achievements, and recommendations for future initiatives.

During the presentation session, groups shared their findings and reflections with the entire team. The discussions highlighted the importance of active participation, intercultural cooperation, and child-centered approaches in youth work. In the evening, project leaders held a final monitoring meeting, while participants gathered for the last Cultural Night, celebrating the diversity of traditions, languages, music, and customs represented throughout the exchange.

The project officially concluded with the distribution of Youthpass and participation certificates, followed by farewell photos and emotional goodbyes. These moments reflected the strong friendships and connections that had been built during the project and marked the successful completion of an inspiring international experience in Saint-Mandé.

Throughout the six days of the project, participants strengthened their understanding of children's social development, inclusion, communication, and active participation. They improved their teamwork, leadership, creativity, and intercultural communication skills while exchanging good practices from different countries. Most importantly, the project created a space where young people could learn from one another, build lasting international friendships, and develop new ideas for supporting children's well-being and social inclusion.

The results achieved during the project clearly demonstrated the value of non-formal education and international cooperation. Participants left the exchange with new knowledge, practical skills, increased self-confidence, and a wider intercultural perspective. The friendships, partnerships, and ideas developed throughout the project will continue to inspire future youth initiatives and contribute to creating more inclusive and supportive environments for children across Europe.
