Second Day of the I Care About Kids Project Focused on Creativity, Team Building and Child Development

The second day of the Erasmus+ KA152-YOU project “I Care About Kids” (2023-1-FR02-KA152-YOU-000145811), coordinated by Caspian Research Center, brought together participants from Azerbaijan, France, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Türkiye for a series of engaging activities centered on creativity, cooperation, and children's healthy development.

The day began with a practical workshop dedicated to kite making. Participants were introduced to the process of designing and constructing kites and were encouraged to create their own. Through this hands-on activity, young people not only developed their creativity and manual skills but also explored how simple outdoor activities can contribute to children's personal and social development. The workshop highlighted the importance of providing children with opportunities to engage in meaningful real-life experiences beyond the digital environment.

To strengthen group cohesion and energize participants, an interactive team-building game was organized. Through this activity, participants had the opportunity to interact with one another in a fun and dynamic setting, improving communication, trust, and cooperation within the international group. The activity created a positive atmosphere and helped participants build stronger connections across cultures.

Later in the day, participants attended an educational session focusing on the benefits of kite flying for children. During the presentation, the project team explained how kite-related activities can support children's hand-eye coordination, motor skills, creativity, concentration, and social interaction. The discussion also emphasized the value of outdoor activities in promoting healthy childhood development and reducing excessive dependence on digital entertainment.

An important part of the second day was dedicated to reflection and evaluation. Participants discussed the challenges they encountered, shared suggestions for improving future activities, and worked together to identify solutions that would enhance the overall quality of the project. This open exchange of ideas encouraged active participation and ensured that all voices were heard throughout the learning process.

The day concluded with an individual evaluation session, during which participants reflected on their experiences, assessed their learning outcomes, and shared feedback regarding the activities. These reflections contributed to a deeper understanding of the project's objectives and helped participants recognize the knowledge and skills they had gained.

Overall, the second day successfully combined creativity, non-formal learning, teamwork, and reflection. Through practical experiences and collaborative discussions, participants further explored the project's core mission of promoting children's healthy development, encouraging active social engagement, and raising awareness about the importance of balancing digital technologies with real-world activities.
